Remove Security Shield counterfeit and take care of deleting real threats

Security Shield (aka SecurityShield) provides a lot of information on threats detected on your PC even without getting its components installed onto the computer allegedly scanned. There are dozens web-addresses hosting the same page, fake remote virus detector. The page is but a nice-looking picture that does not hesitate detecting the same set of threats for any PC connected to it. It might be loaded on a background and present scan summary as user is about to close web-browser. In the meantime, it contains an exploit that attempts to stealthily drop fake antispyware using browser vulnerability and errors in running applications on attacked PC. Therefore it is not true that the malware must be manually downloaded and installed. There are plenty of examples of the program installation through security breaches on target PC and bypassing user’s approval routines.
Get rid of Security Shield as the rogue keeps annoying users with misleading security information upon its installation onto computer system regardless of its introduction details. The rogue indirectly facilitates download and installation of other threats so that removal of Security Shield needs to be combined with comprehensive free scan – such option is available here.
